Renowned Performer The actor Pat Finn, Famed For Roles in Seinfeld and The Middle, Passes Away at the Age of Sixty.
Stateside actor Pat Finn, who appeared in beloved TV shows like Friends, Seinfeld and The Middle, has passed away at 60 years old.
The comedy and improvisation performer succumbed at his home in Los Angeles on Monday following cancer treatment since 2022, according to reports.
"Pat saw everyone as a friend - only friends he didn't know yet," his loved ones stated in a announcement.
They added that he had "embraced life completely - with zest and passion".
A Prolific Career on Screen
His debut TV appearance was on a show starring George Wendt in the mid-90s, where he played the lead character's sibling.
He was also seen in a regular part on Murphy Brown between 1995 and 1997.
He starred as the character Joe Mayo in Seinfeld in 1998, playing a social organizer known to delegate unpleasant chores to his guests.
During the late 1990s and early 2000s, he had guest spots on numerous hit series, such as:

- "Friends"
- "That '70s Show"
- House
Finn was perhaps best known for portraying the character Bill Norwood in "The Middle", starring in eight seasons of the show over nearly a decade.
His work in movies encompass "It's Complicated" and Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups.

Beyond his acting parts, Finn was a skilled improviser and also taught at the University of Colorado, where he was a professor.
He was part of a six-member improv team named Beer Shark Mice.
"He taught, supported, and inspired countless students during his career and it's nearly impossible to find a person anyplace who has a bad thing to say about him," his loved ones expressed.
Paying homage, fellow actor actor Richard Kind noted there was "no kinder, gentler, funnier, authentic human being you could encounter".
"Always positive, making those around him better and funnier. A great dad, a great guy," he shared online.
Finn is remembered by his spouse Donna, his children, and his parents and siblings.
