I will dominate 'credible boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two-time unified boxing king Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
